We had a great experience with Smoky Mountain Deck Builders on our deck project in Gatlinburg. Our sales rep was Frank and he was very helpful in finalizing our design and picking materials. We are very pleased with the construction quality and appearance of the final product. The company has been particularly nice about following up on details of the job. We ran short of material on one stair railing which was back ordered. When our project manager Christian called to say the material was in and he was coming by to install it, I told him about a little issue. A bear had gotten on our upper deck and ripped out a bunch of cables and bent a support. I was prepared to schedule and pay for the needed repair, but Christian took extra time that day to not only do what he came for but also to repair the significant damage with no additional charge, which was very nice. Jason came up with some truly excellent ideas for our screened-in porch and viewing deck, and Christian has had the herculean task of keeping everything on track (around missing materials and hurricane and weather delays.) And no joke, if I were going to keep carpenters on call, it would be James, Chad and Chance! These guys have been AMAZING. They are highly skilled craftsmen with a fantastic work ethic, and they don't cut corners. They do it right and make it better as they go. They have been a pleasure to have around, and I'd have them back to work on our house anytime!

I considered several different companies for our sliding glass door project, but after the first meeting with Jason Lemons I knew Smoky Mountain Deck was the company I wanted to complete my project. Jason was informative, professional, and was not pushy with his sales. But he was confident in their ability to complete the project, and he was right to be confident. I made a mistake with the door purchase, but Nick and his install team went above and beyond to help me correct the issue. Instead of having to seal off the open wall and wait until I could get a new door, Smoky Mountain Deck went the extra mile to return the incorrect door and get the new one for me, without me even asking. This allowed them to complete the project in one day. Edgar and his team working onsite were professional, communicative, and had great attitudes despite the project taking double of his time to complete. From start to finish, I was impressed, knew what to expect, and am more than satisfied with the entire experience. I highly recommend Smoky Mountain Deck Builders and would definitely use them again.
