We are in search of a seasoned and competent construction site leader to become a part of our workforce in Knoxville, TN. The role involves supervising the building of decks, docks, and screen rooms. Leading a team of workers, ensuring both the quality and safety of work, and collaborating with clients and suppliers are part of the responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be actively involved in construction activities such as framing, decking, roofing, and the installation of screens and windows. Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and work in the field with construction crews completing daily activities at the job site.
- Ensure that all construction work aligns with the specified requirements, budget, and timeline.
- Upload and enforce safety and quality standards compliance on the site.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and management teams.
- Address and resolve any site-related issues or challenges promptly.
- Provide guidance and hands-on training to new or less experienced workers.
- Execute various construction tasks as necessary, including but not limited to measuring, drilling, and nailing.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate for this Construction Team Leader position should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in deck, dock, roofing, and or home building.
- Strong leadership skills and effective communication abilities are crucial qualities required for this role.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and construction plans in a necessary skill for this position.
- Experience using project management software is a mandatory requirement.
- Competency in understanding and applying local building codes and regulations specific to Knoxville TN is essential.
Compensation:
- Up to $57,000 Yearly based on experience
